FACILITIES

The outdoor green consists of 4 immaculately manicured rinks and the indoor green consists of 3 well-maintained indoor rinks. Both of the greens meet the standards required for County and National competitions and the club ably hosts many competition games throughout the year.

Around the outdoor green there are benches and seats aplenty so you can wile away some restful hours in the sun (or shade) watching a game unfold. There is a small club-house on the edge of the green which consists of limited changing/locker/storage facilities but most importantly forms an essential quick-access shelter for bowlers when the heavens open!

As you would expect from a modern club, there are also full male and female changing rooms in the clubhouse; complete with toilets, washing facilities and lockers for use. These facilities are thoroughly cleaned and checked to a commercial level on a daily basis.

In addition, there is a spacious and comfortable furnished social area from which members and guests can enjoy a drink and watch a game of bowls unfold before them, with access to a fully-licensed and well-stocked bar always open and serving soft drinks, wines, beers and spirits at some of the cheapest prices in the county!

An integral part of the sport of bowls is the social side of a post-match meal with the opposition, and the club avidly safeguards this tradition by having a large fully-functional kitchen with all modern appliances and a comfortable dining area to ensure all visitors are well fed, watered and taken care of after a match!

The club has spent considerable time and money to ensure that it is able to facilitate disabled members and guests. Along with all the building adaptations you would expect (ramps etc) there are rink-permitted wheelchairs available on site at all times to accommodate disabled/immobile bowlers.
